Welcome to High Gain!

The ADC High Gain Project  has been providing treatment services to alcoholics, addicts, family members and to our community since 1974.  We continue to be one of the oldest non-profit , independent agencies in the county dealing with prevention,  addiction and associated negative behaviors.  Proudly we are  one of the first DUI providers in Los Angeles County, thanks to our founder Gaylord G. Long and his wife, my mom,  Joreen Long.  We were started as a "mom & pop shop" and continue today with the same family supportive environment.   Our  program has demonstrated a treatment approach that remains successful which has been validated by our 90.84% closing rate.  As the Executive Director , it is an honor and a privilege to lead such a dedicated and skilled staff.  Our team are considered "high gain family" and most have been with our agency for years, they are here because they care.     Our goals remain steadfast, to assist participants through a very difficult and often frightening time in their lives, to educate, motivate and reduce recidivism.

Thank you for considering our program
